Our Food and Drink

Head Chef/Owner, Andy Williams (pictured left) trained at the Brunel Technical College in Bristol and has been a chef for 26 years. He spent over seven years working in top French and Italian restaurants in Canada, where he gained much of his cooking style and influence.

At Steamers Restaurant you’ll find a range of flavours and styles from simple Mediterranean food to classic British dishes. Our menu offers a selection of fish, meat and vegetarian choices which are prepared to order using fresh, local ingredients.

The fresh fish we serve comes from local fishmongers, much of it directly from the waters around Beer. Our locally-sourced meat is supplied by an award-winning butcher and we use free-range eggs and dairy produce from near-by farms.

We offer a wide selection of drinks including local beers, South West wines, Devon spring water and local organic juices & cider. We have a reasonably priced WINE LIST and our hot drinks are made with fair-trade ingredients.
